Lost My Cory

Well as I expected my little cory did not make it. My surviving cory seems sad. He's burried himself in a plant and is just laying there. I need to do a good clean & water change, I was waiting to see what happened with the cory. I didn't want to stress him anymore than necessary. I have a small ammonia & nitrite spike now. I guess due to the medicine I used to treat the fungus.... Just what I needed... sigh! Thanks for all who tried to help me.

Awww... hey sorry about your loss . I just lost a fish a few days ago too, it's never easy! *hugs* Hopefully you'll find a nice buddy to replace him.

Awww! I am sorry about the loss of your fish. I lost my favorite guppy a little while ago. You did everything that you could to try to save it. Your medication for the tank might have messed up your biological filter so your tank will go through a minicycle so I suggest doing frequent water changes. Water changes will also help with getting rid of the medication in the water. I hope you get some new corys so that the remaining one doesn't get too lonely!

Yea, I plan to do small daily water changes every day for the next week or so. As soon as my mini cycle is finished I plan to get 2 more cory's so my other little guy will be happy. Thanks again for all the support.
