requirements
not ferns (hard to keep)
not sword (already have a lot)
high-low light
can go with seachem flourish tabs and liquid ferts (as well as potash)
does not need lots of ferts to grow well
dosent need a lot of drainage (sand substrate growable)
fast growing
mystery bladder and ramshorn and nerite and cories will not bully/eat
safe for cories (no sharp)
tolerates high-medium flow(the whole tank has a canister flow to it)
tolerates 70-80 f

Not required but will like:
some tall plants
some carpet (or able to carpet) plants
bushy(for baby guppy and snail food)
maybe grow out of water?
type of floating plant (already have duck weed)
has big leaf plants
some very small leaf plants
can be grown outside - idk like 60 degrees and 80 degrees in summer
flowy leaf( dont know if any flowy can be grown in flow)

ideas:
big crypts
big anubias
red root floater
mondo grass???(idk anything about it but saw it at pet smart)
jungle vals(maybe too flowy)
anubias nana petite
moss carpets
very very tall plants in the middle
the front and back and the left side are only good for very very hard plants like anubias
all the soft plants like elodea have been washed away in the flow...
even crypts/
attatch to driftwood?

ill add more, this is as much as my smol brain can remember

I love my jungle vals. They will definitely take over the tank:

They will also act as your “very very tall plants”. They will grow to the surface.

I personally wouldn’t attach crypts to the driftwood. They work be to way for them to get the proper nutrients to grow.

Moderate - nothing extreme. I have found they do best in calm waters.

Anubis’s does very well on driftwood.

what is the blurry ball of stuff on the right side of your tank?
any other ideas for plants?

looks quite nice tbh ((cos the algae does not have algae on it!!)
any other ideas for plants?
I would stick with beginner plants first, then move on to more complex plants.

Once you grow them out, Java fern and anubias look incredible.

my java fern is dying...
well not dying, it never really grew big tbh

What do you use for lighting? What condition was it in when you got it?

Do you like any of these plants if so circle and i can name - btw you said fern were hard to grow but it really isn't. The first tank is on the right is a huge block of java fern that started from one tiny its bity plant:

Some amazing pictures here!
6 months ago I wanted some Vallis. My LFS didn't have any but gave me a couple of scraps they had left over in a redundant tank. I didn't expect them to revive but this is a picture of my tank now! I have actually cut them back as they had spread half way along. The leaves are 6 feet long, they grow right along the top of the 4 foot tank then bend back down to the gravel at the far end.
It wasn't obvious when I planted it, but it turned out to be Tiger Vallis. I thought that was a variety of 'spiralis' rather than Jungle Vallis, but this stuff is much bigger than any spiralis that I've grown previously!
