I know the answer is probably no but can I have these in my 20l once it's cycled? Just a pair of them.

I'm no expert on killifish (those ain't guppies), but I did research this particular species a bit. In terms of space, they do live in what are basically puddles in the wild, so mabye (ask someone else). The thing you might not be aware of is that those are semi-annual fish, living at most 1.5 years at a time. They do breed fairly easily though, so you can get eggs off them, but they have very interesting storage conditions (they have to be kept OUT of water for a period of time). Because they don't need water, you can either sell or keep the eggs.

One problem with keeping only a pair though is that the males will fight to the death, so if you don't actually get a pair you'll be out of luck. I don't recall if they prefer being in schools otherwise or not.

HIya, thanks

They sound really interesting but the low lifespan puts me off.
