these are the fish pics from the aquarium and also from the 'bugs' exibit (don't ask why fish are in a bugs exhibit, i have no idea)

note as there are so many pictures
I have added then as thumbnails, please click on any image to make it larger

more in next post

finally a bonus point to anyone who can say what this little chap is (seen many times it's normal size)

Thanks for looking

very cool, have not been in years.

the ickle guy, shrimp - Pistol,Mandarin, or it kinda looks like a cyclops/triops

Nice pics wolfy :good: though in the first post it doesn't look like their FW tanks are very clean, looking at the substrate and the HITH.

.............................

edit: It's a shrimp?!?!?!?! :nerd: ok I'll go hide in the corner now.

edit no.2: Oh I see what you mean now, I thought you were saying that it gets much bigger than that but actually you were saying the opposit, my bad.

gill is thinking along the right lines :good:

Nice pics Wolfy =) I can't get photos of fish for love nor money. Is the aquarium area in the London Zoo big? Really need to go to London one day ... quite a few things I want to check out.

Really no clue what the last picture is, just gonna go with a random stab in the dark and say it's very large krill =P Hey, it could be food.

Dammit it i know what it is now, but can't think of the name.
Keep thinking some kind a shrimp/water flea.

water flea.
that's it!
commonly called daphnia :)

Erised, you certainly want at least 3-4 hours there but that is the least, i spent all day there and still didn't see it all

I was going to say water flea, looks very similar to the ones you'd find in rock pools down the beach actually.

the peacock bass is massive.
