Just watched USA in basketball, they are awesome, used to follow the bulls when MJ was playing but lost touch after he retired. Bryant still going strong is good tho.

Wow, Surprised you all aren't more excited. I'm in the US, but.....

I, for one, have watched every Olympics since I was young. I watch as many events as I can fit in! That includes the winter Olympics. There is no comparison for the amount of work it takes to become an Athlete of Olympic caliber. It's so inspiring to watch. If you have ever paid attention in your history classes you would know how far back the history of the Olympics goes. There's something ancient and special about this kind of event, especially as it includes a gathering of the entire world! When can this many people from separate countries gather in such a way.... It's a moment of peace that should be happening always.

lol I'm a sap. I LOVE THE OLYMPICS!!!

In London every day, regardless if the Olympics are being held there.

Was pleased about the Gold for the ladies rowing. Couldnt watch as I was at work but one of them comes from the next village over from me the other from my nearest town. I may well have seen them out if they went out on the thames as i often see them training. Makes me tired just watching! lol
