Socialising?!?!?!? Well, I suppose I might be persuaded to have a lemonade somewhere. Just as long as there's none of that nasty loud music and the chairs are comfortable and the cutlery has been cleaned properly. Standards nowadays are so terrible I'm just amazed people are brave enough to go out at all. :dunno:

Oh, and as we're going to be walking around I do hope people will wear sensible shoes, and bring some sandwiches and a Thermos.

I love it, you've made me laugh twice today! Thanks! :D I'll have a double vodka in my lemonade, cheers. ;)

... that's if I am there at all.

Ahhh the joys of being young :p

I'm sure if you explain it properly Vixen your Mum will be cool. I was just about to say cant you let you Mum meet some of the people that are going first...then I realised thats what you've just said

....

thats still young as far as us mums are concerned,

i was quite happy and confident to travel around when i was sixteen, but will i be confident about my daughter do the same when she's sixteen in two years time, oooooh don't think so ;)

i'm hopping to go along vixen and i can sound really mature and sensible when i want to so if your mum needs a character witness, so to speak get her to give me a call and i'll talk the talk :hyper:

lol, I hope that when/if I am a parent I will remember what it was like to be treated like a child and not do it.

At 16, you can get married, legally have sex and children and leave home. I moved hundreds of miles from home to my own flat when I was 17. Yet, someone of 16 (nearly 17) is not old enough to travel alone.
