Hello everyone
To sum it up I have lost loads of fish recently.
Up until now my tank had been death free since January when I set it up.
I have lost the following fish in the past week.
One angel fish
One black widow
One hong kong Pleco
One balloon platy

I tested my water and it's fine.
Everything is at 0. The only thing is the ph is at 7.4, I that matters.
The tank has been going since January.
It's the jewel lido.
It's a very heavily planted tank if that matters?
Anyone have any ideas?
I love my fish and don't want to loose any more.
Thanks Bradley

You should probably copy and paste the emergency form in the emergency section. You need to give a better understanding of what is going on.

Emergency form

If in doubt, a large water change is a good start. If you haven't done already. Maybe something toxic has got in.

When you say everything is at 0, what exactly do you mean?

Did you cycle your tank when you set it up? The 0 ammonia and nitrite would suggest so, but the 0 nitrate would suggest not.

Bradley, it is possible that your local water authority has found it necessary, for human health reasons, to grossly increase the water treatment with chlorine. If that is the case you may need to significantly up the dose of dechlorinator that you are using. That is about the only seasonal variable that we experience here.

It's a very heavily planted tank if that matters?
He said his tank is heavily planted so low or not nitrates is not so unusual. So yes, bradley it matters in terms of nitrates but not your death issue.

Recently added fish and plants. I would bet no quarantine and no plant dip for nasties either. But that only suggests a likely cause but not a specific diagnosis. The description under symptoms doesn't help much.

bradley- when did the new fish and plants go in and do you notice anything unusual in the behavior of the fish such as not eating, swimming oddly, flashing against objects external marks, etc?

Regarding OldMan's thoughts on your tap water, these two pieces of information might interest you:
Mar 2, 2012 – Norwich's neonatal unit is taking extra safety precautions after tests ... the unit is now using sterile water instead of tap water,
June 2011- sudden tap water quality change- i live in East Anglia (Norwich)

My friends tank hasnt been effected. We live on the same water table.
I added the fish 3 weeks ago.
The deaths started this week.
I have just lost another 2.
1 neon and another black widow.
I have done a 50% water change.
They are eating normally.
No odd behaviour either.
The fish just randomly die.
There are no symptons.
Any one else?

Theres more fish than will fit in your tank perry.
Also what could be up with tge plants?
