What's wrong with Bob  Bob is a nice name. You could call her Bobby for, um, short.
You could call her Pie mebbe- my nan had a cat called Pie.

Sasha, Bob and Paprika are all out.

I'm looking for a Russian name (perhaps Ukraine) to go with Vladimir and Myska. I like Anouska or Annifasia, but Penfold is not so happy on them.

Although it is a boys name, Leon? as in Trotsky? (after all, Vlad is named after Lenin - Vladimir Ulyanov) or Josef after Stalin...

Or, continuing the theme of world leaders at the end of the Great War, Woodrow, after the US president Woodrow Wilson?

While I just do not agree with Bob being out (I mean, common! You have to!) I actually have a reason to not agree with Sasha being out. Sasha IS a russian name. To go for a slightly different spelling of the same name, Zasha is actually a Russian pet name meaning 'People's defender'. I like it
Sezja would be another name like it, meaning 'protector'. Neither meanings seem to really fit this puddy tat though :p With the 2 bigguns around I'm not sure how much of a 'defender' or 'protector' she'd be.

how about:
Kisa (kitty)
Kiska (pure)
Raisa (rose)
Svetlana (star - though I'm not too keen on that name)

Lovely kitty btw =) Bet she's gonna be fun to chase around the house in a while when she starts destroying things.

--EDIT--

Peter recommends Bobski (to make Bob Russian ... you know you simply Have to!) or Pjotter (the Russian version of his name)

I can't use Bob for two reasons:

1) The cat is female
2) I already have a bala shark called Bob and I am not allowed to double name (even though I can no longer tell the balas apart)

If Bob was available the frogfish would be called Bob.

I just don't like Sasha I'm afraid. Some of the other names are ok, but it's finding one suitably different to Myska at the moment, otherwise it would be Anouska.

The way she is at the moment though (such as using the big tank as a scratching post) she may just be called "Hoi".
