List Of Potentially Interesting Topics

there's been some noise recently about not enough interesting topics on technical subjects. i just thought that i'd start a thread listing topics of technical interest which may otherwise wind up overlooked. this is just a bit of a stopgap measure until the Science Forum gets up and running.

I agree that the Science Forum, which we await, was brought to mind to answer just that problem. In my Marine area, I try to post a 'topic of the week'. Any TFF member, actually, can think up and start a new thread on an interesting topic. Certainly, putting together a single thread with a list of interesting topics is a good idea. SH

I'd love someone to go into detail with Osmotic shock in freshwater fish....
I think its much ignored or misuderstood as a condition to watch for and prevent against.
That is if my understanding of it is correct?
