Hi all.

My tank is a 100 liter tank ( 26 Gal ) and i have a lightning unit with reflecters and 4 x 14 watt bulbs made for plants. Now this gives you 2.1 WPG.

I have c02 and add liquid fertz weekly.

Does it matter where this lightunit is posistioned? Back middel front ?

If I get another unit the same as I have will it be better?

THX ALL!

With PROPER co2 (20-30+ wpg) you will have no problem with 2.1 wpg. I have 1.4 wpg on my 21g with 23-35 ppm co2 and my plants are growing inches in 24hrs, if I didnt only have neons, there would be no space for fish. However, growing red plants was tough with my 1.4 wpg...I am using 3200k bulbs and having great results even with ricca on the substrate...

Do you add a "all in one" fert, or use EI dosing (see above pinned article) ?

Hi

Thx for the reply.

My C02 is DIY Nutrafin kit with ladder but I dont mesure it atall.

I mostly have high light plants so maybe need to up it to 3.5 WPG

Dont worry about more light in a small/shallow tank. I grow ricca and even SOME red plants with 1.4 wpg. The nutrafin kit is good for your tank if you change it every 14 days, not once a month...

You can use your own yeast and sugar and sodium bicarbonate to save money....
