This is my new corner Juwel tank....there is a white light at the back and the front light is soft white......but I think it looks a bit yellow....My hubby thinks it looks like natural daylight. My last tank had a pink light at the front......I would be glad of your opinions please :)

are u sure its the light making it yellow? or is it that peice of wood tinting the water that makes it look yellow,? looks good either way tho!

I think it looks great. The fish look very coorfull as well.

I think it might be the wood. Take your photos during the night, or close the curtains etc. Taking them around 9 i get the best pics.

It's not the wood, I am sure of that. It's the light, thats giving the appearance of bog wood leaking. I held a piece of white paper against the light and it looked amber.........

Looks good. :) The substrate is very yellowish so that might be reflecting into the water.

Wouldn't worry about it though, it's a nice tank.

Looks brilliant, i would just put in a PowerGlo tube, as there is a lot of light with it which will enhance the colour of your fish and make your plants grow like crazy! Otherwise it looks great.

:/ I just tried changing the lights back to the ones I had in my Juwel 150lt corner tank, because they looked great in that tank, but in the new tank they look awful. Very drab. They are an Interpet daylight plus for the back and a beauty light plus for the front. I know the new tank is deeper, but I hadn't expected the differance to be so much  .........I have the juwel reflectors on too. So please I need advice.....What are the brightest tubes I can buy, one for the plants and one for the fish. Surly just because the tank is deeper, it doesnt mean I have to have a dull tank......
Its bright enough if I stick to the tubes that come with the tank, but I really don't like that amber look to the tank.....
At least i have ruled out that it isnt the bogwood or the gravel.......HELP!! :(
