I just picked up a T5HO fixture for my 90 gallon freshwater tank. Only reason I got the T5HO was because it was so cheap. Now I'm unsure of what bulbs are best to bring out the color in my fish and my rocks. It came with 2 54w 10000k white bulbs so I picked up a Slimpaq 460nm actinic and a 420 actinic to try out. I don't have any live plants as of yet. Most of the fish are african cichlids. Johanni and yellow labs. I want something that will bring the color out nicely without making the water look too white. Also I have some nice red rocks that would be nice if it brought out the color also.
