Leucistic neon tetras
I just purchased 10 of these cute guys,
I think they'll compliment my 11 black
neons very nicely :D

If anyone near STM Kent wants them, they
have about 20 left and only got them in on friday,
so hurry along :kana:

They will contrast almost like playing on a checker board! Awsome fish Wolf!
Can i ask how much?

any pics of them in the tank woth the balck neons?do you have blue ones as wel?

not yet, I'll let them explore and settle in, then I'll start taking pics.

I have had the std neons and diamond head neons before with no luck :/
I am considering going with a black water extract for this tank, then maybe I will be able to keep the std neons alive

Nice fish. Never heard of them - are they tank bred (selectively bred for that colour strain maybe) or do they exist in the wild?
Leucistic is defined as any animal that is white,
but have dark eyes and some pigmentation such
as ghost markings.

The lfs says the breeders have only ever seen them
appear twice in the last 50 years, the parents are std
neon tetras. they are a natural colour mutation.

note; now they have settled down a bit, there is a faint
red line and a ghostly blue one, they eyes have become
really neon blue and they are even more stunning now.

ok here they are

All is clear, thanks. Stunning little fish, although if one didn't know better they might assume they're stressed neons due to the pale markings. That aside, nice purchase.
