What kinds of ornaments do you Betta keepers have in your aquariums? My Veiltail Betta Phil has a fake petrified log at the bottom of his 5.5 gallon tank and also a floating log as well. He'enjoys both but he's really active. Sometimes he sleeps in either.
My Delta tail Miles has an ancient Pagoda style ornament with two holes in it. It's got an opening at the bottom and a hole at the top so he can swim in one hole and come out the other. I swear he LOVES this thing! He's in and out of it all the time or just hangs out inside the top with his nose peaking out.
My new Crowntail "Syd" also has the same Pagoda ornament as Miles and he loves it too. He either goes inside it or perches on top surveying his area. It also has ledges all around it for the fish to perch on and rest. So far two of my three fish recommend it!
So what ornaments or hiding spots do your Bettas love?
