Last Death?

When was the last time you guys lost one of your beloved finned friends? If you can...please say how many you lost and to what.

I had a platy die from swimbladder infection, but that was a while ago. More than a month, definitely.

I had a small platy die last week. I'm not sure how she died... I found her stuck to the filter.

I believe my last one was quite some time ago (this is counting my actual pet fish, not the "hospice fish" I intentionally bring home because they are dying), at least a few months. It was a betta who had an abdominal tumor.

Mine last lost fish was over a month ago. it was a guppy and i lost her to fin rot. Luckily i managed to save the other guppy from fin rot and she is doing very well indeed

Mine was Saturday, when i went out i had 5 Exodons happilly swimming about in one of my tanks and when i got home 4 hours later i had 4 and a skull needless to say when they say dont keep Exodons in groups of less than 7 they mean it, canabalistic little buggers.

Maybe 2 or 3 months back I lost 3 rosy barbs, 3 platties and 2 zebra danios when I accidentally stirred up a pocket of ammonia.

Well...I lost one von rio tetra 4 days ago. He came with a 55 gallon my mom bought at a garage sale and his tail was torn up pretty bad so I isolated him and added some salt and melafix. He died within a few hours. He looked like he wasn't going to make it whether I treated him or not. He was think and pale.

Then 2 days ago I lost a glass catfish for no reason at all. I knew he was kind of ill because he was acting weird and straying from the group. I checked my water and everything was 100% fine. I have no clue what it was.

Yesterday my pineapple swordy died (after being tossed up 10 feet in the air in a bag and let crash to the stree) And my female blue ram died as well the same day.

A lot of deaths lately, but my molly had 3 babies.

Just yesterday *sniff*

I bought a pair of cockatoo cichlids on Saturday and yesterday morning the male died. The female died in the afternoon. All other fish in the tank are fine and the water parameters are perfect. I don't know what caused their death.

Going through a bad period here... I'm not going to repeat what I've lost in the last 3 wks because it's embarassing, depressing and I've posted elsewhere about it but it's been almost a week since anyone croaked and I sure as heck hope that it's over!


otoh, since I had to take Sparky the betta out of the 5g eclipse (so I could use it as a quarantine tank) and into a 2g bowl he's been making the HUGEST bubble nests!
I think he likes it!

About a week ago, my ONLY female fancy guppy came down with a case of columnaris. I separated her into a quarantine tank, but it was impossible to save her. A few days after I put her in the quarantine tank, one of the female feeder guppies came down with it. I put her in the quarantine tank also and she died a few days later than the fancy. Poor babies...

lost an albino cichlid. He was a runt n got picked on. they destroyed his tail.
I tried to quarantine him, and medicate with melafix but the meds suffocated him. =[

I've only lost 1 fish, which was an oto cat that died the same day that I bought it over 3 months ago

The three unmentionable guppies from a couple of months ago. Coldwater guppies in an uncycled tank- need I say more?

I had a platy die 2 weeks ago, for some reason my nitirites rose to 2ppm beforehand. Rip.
