As I tried to ask for a marine TOTM, The mods have stated there's not a lot of active members in this section.

So with that being said, Who is active in this thread?

Post some pics of your tanks here too.

My guess is around 3-5 active members on this forum keep salty fish.

Ohhh, I'd guess at more than that, will be interesting to see the replies though.

Won't have my marine tank set up for a few weeks yet. Gotta get the tank drilled, stand made and a sump done :p

I must admit that I was a very active member when I had my freshwater tank, but there just don't seem to be many salties around here and I've been posting most of my questions on another forum.

I've not got my tank set up yet, but I can share some photos of pipes and stuff I've made for it so far

Could it be that with this site being "Tropical fish Forums" that the majority of its users keep tropical fish rather than marine

Same could be said for common household pets but there's a pet of the month :3

While my post was tounge in cheek, marine enthusiasts will do searchers for sites/forums relating to Marine, I know there are several sub sections in this forum relating to other likes and activities.

It's a fair comment. It would be nice to have a more active marine section, but it will be a gradual process I suspect.

Persistent begger aren't you Techen :p

I would be here more if I had my own (or any tank!) at the moment but might find an old photo or two (cant enter comps as I cant verify tanks any more :( )

Its a rubbish photo of possibly one of the most unphotogenic fish ever and maybe I'm a big bit bias but the two Yellow Tangs were the nicest examples I have seen in ages, far nicer than the imports these days! They looked great when I bought them so I wont take all the credit, though they were happy fish and had a great diet so... :p

Hrumph... I dunno... you complain because not enough photos are posted... those ones have been there nearly 10.5 hours now

Come on man, get with the times. Sleeping ain't allowed in the 21st century.

When I got my first tank (fresh) I came here for advice.  It wasn't long after I decided to convert to my Salt tank.  I started a journel and things seemed to be not bad for Marine traffic.  I got very busy with work for a few months and it seemed like nobody was around anymore.  I'll do my best to be more active here again.  I'll also see if I can get some photos of my tangs today. :)

I'm over on the ultimate reef now for SW stuff, it's really busy and friendly!
