Lace Cat Being Bad?

Ok I have a small Oscar in my fish tank, Its a 20gallon tall. i KNOW thats small for a oscar but he is small and im only keeping him till he grows up more than he's going to a huge 300 gallon tank with a few others .. Any way, I have a lace cat fish in the tank, been in there for a long time and he got along with the Oscar just fine. Also the lace cat is small at moment like maybe 3 1/2 to 4inches not sure. But a few days ago he started to attack the oscar. Now my poor oscar is bit up, chewed some fins bad. He is still eating good tho acting normal just looks like crap now..... SO why would my lace cat do that I was told he would never attack my fish... I would of thought the oscar would be the one to do that.

Obviously you are new to this scene, obviously your tank is too small. Why not set up your larger tank and get some more fish ? remember to keep fish in nice sized tanks, how would you like to be locked in a toilet cubical?

can't have a tank bigger than that here. and i said the oscar in there is going to a 300gallon tank in a month or so any way. The oscar was in this tank for like 2 weeks before the cat started doing this to him. I have had Oscars before in this tank and never had a problem. I just want to know if lace cats attack other fish after all....
