I was wondering if it were possible to keep these in a 30 gallon long(3 ft) as a species tank. I don't think I can fit 5 species in my 55 with a 1:2 ratio.

I've never heard of people doing that species in a small tank. I think they get pretty big. I wouldn't do it.

Ok how about rusty cichlids? I think I have enough space for them in the 55, if I can put the rusty's in the 30.

the 55 has 11 fish in it currently.
