I got 2 kuhlis for my tank, and those buggers are never to be seen! $6 down the drain!! They seem to hide in the very very tiny cracks of my bogwood. How could I get them out of there? What could I fill the cracks with to make them come out? Would glass sealant work? I think they're the coolest things ever but they never come around... D:

Actually, giving them more hiding places makes them come out more. They are nocturnal as well, and if you have a Lunar light of some sort then you will be able to see them at night. More kuhlies will help them feel more comfortable, too.

Hello Chibi
How long have you had the Kuhlis? They do take a while to get comfortable in a tank. Also it’s true what they say the more the merrier, Kuhlis feel more comfortable in larger groups. I have more than six and they are out all the time.

Thanks guys! I've only had them for 24 hours. That's probably why. :shout: I'll get them some friends, too. Thaaanks~!

deffinatly get as many more as you can.
they will become your favourite fish once they get used to the set up and have lots of mates. :shifty:

increasing the number of loaches and increasing the number of hiding places are good ways to make them feel more comfortable. In our 30 gallon we had one origionally and never saw it. Now that we have 3 they come out to battle for food at feeding time.
