I'm trying to decide on which fish I should get, Rams or Kribs? My tank is a 20 gallon and is stocked with 4 cories and 3 guppies which is a total of 15.5 inches out of a max of 24. How many caves would I need? Would I need one for the male and female?

EDIT: I decided that I'll only be able to get a male from one of the species because my guppy gave birth and I want to keep at least one or two.
P.S. click my dragon "fry" :)

i vote Rams, kribs get extremely aggressive; and i think Rams are just more attractive and more personality :) well mine have a funny personality ^^

I voted rams also. I don't really like the look of kribs. Bolivian rams are very pretty. I would have maybe 3 or 4 caves in the tank. Get a pair of them and put no more fish in there. If anything I would take out the corries when breeding because they will get into the eggs and eat them, and probally get torn to pieces.

Kribs are aggressive somtimes so i would vote rams. Bolivians pref as German Blue rams can get aggressive at breeding. and if u have anything breed with corys they will eat the eggs,

so far its looking good for the rams LOL :) 100%

Would a ram get along with a honey gourami/Dwarf gourami?

I'm the first to vote Kribs, they are more attractive, hardier, can be mixed with bigger fish such as Firemouths and Severums,Breed much easier, cheaper.

Kribs, they are only aggresive at breeding time and even then they do no harm, i have a breeding pair in a community tank, look at my sig. Not a fin nip on any of the fish. Kribs are also much easier to look after and don't require much attention. They have great personalitys and have striking colours

If you are getting a Kribensis dont get a male.

The females are extremely attractive,a lot smaller (around 3") and very placid in comparison to the male. (the fish in my avatar is my female Kribensis)

Males although not overly agressive will probably bug your guppys, get to about a fat 5" and will be very dull in color.

Heres a female
