I would not risk a Krib pair with corydora (possibly mature related Brochis) or "Kuhli" Loaches (I say "Kuhli" because what most think of as that species are often Pangio semicinta, not Pangio kuhli), adult Zebra Loaches would probably be ok as would the Bleeding Hearts, Angelfish, BN Plec.
I've been keeping Kribs and Corys together for years without issue. I don't see a problem with doing so.

Well you (or more accurately, your fish) have been the lucky ones... There are countless tales on forums where breeding Kribs have mamed/killed corydora groups, innocently passing the "family home."

Generally speaking, anything that gets within ~15cm of the Krib fry will be attacked by the protective parents. What happens during that battle will depend upon their relative sizes and their ability to take some punishment, larger fish standing a far better chance of living to tell the tale.

I think i'll leave kribs as I love my cories!  Are there any similar fish to this other than apistos?

German Blue Rams? Or Bolivian Rams?

Tek oot.

Or, more accurately, the people with problems are keeping too many fish in a small tank?

I have already tried bolivian rams and would rather not get the again - particularly as my LFS only sell runty and deformed bolivians :(

German Blue Rams seem to sensitive?

I know the chances of any fry surviving are slim, but I would love to have a fish with similar breeding behaviours to kribs?

What about dwarf flag cichlids? Laetecara Curviceps?

Tek oot.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Going back to the apistogrammas, I like both Apistogramma cacatuoides and apistogramma agassizii.  Which are your favourite out of the 2 as I have no idea which would be better?

They are both as good as each other.
