Im hoping you can advise me on kribensis stocking density.

I have a 100l tank with 6 ember tetras and 6 neon tetras in. I picked up 2 kribensis recently but it turns out they are both male. Would it be possible to bring 2 (or more if necessary) females for the males in my tank.

The tank is well planted out, has a coconut shell at either end of the tank and a big piece of wood that provides a visual barrier between the coconuts.

Thanks
Tom

I wouldn’t have more than one pair in a tank unless it was at least 4ft wide and then even then you may well still have a bit of trouble.

I suggest you take one of the males back to where you got them from an swap it for a female.

The place I brought them from won’t take a male back and don’t have any females.

Anyone had any success with 2 kribensis pairs in a similar sized tank?

If they were sold as a pair (or you asked for a pair) start the converstion like this

In terms of the consumer rights act of 2015...
