Very difficult to say, apart from the tail fin the top really does look male. The elongated body, spot on the gill plate and lack of red on the belly. The bottom fish it female for sure. Do they act like a pair? In this case I would go with the anal and ventral fins. The males will be much longer(difficult to see in the pic though).

lol this is so funny! i wanna see more pictures of these fish!
the top one does look like it has the potential to be a male, looking at the anal fin...
the tail just really puts me off. and why is the dorsal fin so short??

but the second picture has got to be a female!

I will show you males have red bellies too:

That was a male during breeding time, he was red when i bought him, but the red really came out when they spawned.
Here is the female, almost no color at all, that was just weird:

I mean, there is a small chance that the bottom one is female, but i will stand by my statement that they are both male.

Woah, everyone don't get too argumentative over my kribs! LOL Thanks for all your opinions, i made an error earlier, they HAVEN'T SPAWNED. But the red belly chases the other so i presume they're trying possibly.

Thanks

I suggest you remove the less coloful one and get a FEMALE. If not, your krib( grey one) will be stressed out. And may eventually be killed or die from stress. Kribs dont blantantly chase eachother when trying to spawn. Of course, it is impossible for your kribs to mate since they are BOTH male. I honestly wouldnt be so "agressive" about convincing you guys about this, but i mean, i cant understand how you guys are fooled by a red belly.

i hadnt even taken the red belly into account. its the tails and fins i was talking about. ive had male kribs with red bellies when they're in prestine condition.
a female doesn't have the flick at the end of the dorsal with, accompanied by the solid red and gold colour all the way to the end, that a male does. the fish in the bottom pick doesn't have the flick either.
a females tail is rounded and only has colour on half of its tail... exactly like those in the pictures.
a males tail is (99.9% of the time) arrow shaped. however, even that 0.1% have solid red and gold all the way down the tip of the tail which is, in good conditioned kribs, accompanied with a yellow tint across the bottom half of the tail.

i wasn't arguing, i was stating my opinion and why i thought that. kribensis12 was the one who insisted they're both male when they're not actually 100% sure themselves.

i feel a few more pictures of the fish wouldn't go a miss

Its pretty easy to sex a krib when you've had a few.I would go and ask at a good shop, they could show you the difference, if you really want to know.
Pretty sure its a Male top and female bottom, but blurry pics are always deceiving, like kribs, especially when they are taken in different angles. Both look like large juvies as well.
