I bought 2 Kribensis, one male one female, having asked questions in various places and been told that these dwarf Cichlids will mix fine.

After a little more digging tonight, I've found that an equal amount of people are swearing black as blue that they aren't a good mix.

If I get rid of the male and have a single female Kribensis, will she get along fine with Rams or will she still bully them? My female seems quite placid while the male has bit the head off a neon (silly neon beat the krib to some blood worm and paid the price :sly: ) and nipped at my Angel fish.

Thanks for any and all help and advice.

i had both pairs at the same time and never had anything to worry about, given enough room they should be fine, i had mine in a 29gal tank then moved them to a 100g and still happy enough just make sure they have plenty of plants and cave structures .

Were they breeding pairs?

yes bought them about a month apart and never really had any problems as they stayed on different sides of the tank .
