I know how the works thanyou very much and I do understand. Thats all I have to say.
Sorry, but having litters & litters of kittens that are OVERPOPULATING the already over-ridden world, is not a 'good job.'Auratus said:14k give him a break. How is a 12 year old supposed to go to the vet to get his cats fixed? I'm sure it's his parents doing the kitten thing and they are doing a good job with it. You gotta stop being so rude.
I think you should know alittle more about the person or about the situation before you turn it into something its not!
Uh.... Sorry to disapoint you, but if you don't spay/neuter your cats they're going to have babies..... Maybe at the young age of 12, you don't understand that yet, but that's how the world works.....
Never said she was required to do anything... I was pointing out that she IS, in fact responsible (or her parent's are) for the cats having litters...billy61788 said:Uh.... She isnt required to spay or neuter them.
So you say it's not okay to breed but then you say it is okay to breed as long as their purebred?
A dog is a dog is a dog...same with a cat. Even purebred animals get put into pounds so breeding purebreds is still adding to the population.
I'm not saying that purebreds don't end up in the pound.... They obviously do. I'm saying that having people that want the dog/cat in advance & then breeding for your own personal gain (to have a show dog) is responsible breeding.... Having litters & litters of kittens & then hoping (God forbid nobody wanting any of your kittens) people want them, isn't....Auratus said:Alright then where did all the purebred dogs in the pound come from?
I'm glad that you are taking the cats in to get fixed. That's responsible thing to do. I'm sorry that your cats ended up getting pregnant, BUT it wouldn't have happened if they were already fixedfish_breeder said:My parents nor I are responcible for the kittens. There really was no reason to tell you how they got pregnant but just to clear the names of my parents. We left to Mexico for 2 weeks so we hired a caretaker or whatever you call them. The stupid idiot must have not seen them go outside but they did and I guess they got pregnant. They started getting big so we took them to the vet and the vet said they were pregnant and we are going to spay/neutor all the kittens and the cats.
Personal gain as in, breeding for your next show animal... Not 'just' to make $$$Auratus said:I don't think breeding anything "for your own personal gain" is responsible. I do not believe in breeding animals to make money.
