Killies In The Cupboard

Alrighty.
I've just got through a myriad of tasks today including a bit of wiring, a bit of plumbing (airlines) a bit of decorating and a lot of tidying up
All thats left to do now is a few menial tasks such as fit thermometers and air gang valves make brineshrimp hatcheries and spawning mops.
Later on today I will be juggling with water chemistry and getting that angle covered. So I'm expecting to have some tanks online by the middle of the week
Here follows some pics from this afternoon.

This is going to be my (very small) Planted aquarium complete with pressurised CO2
and ferts. Home to a breeding colony of Pseudepiplatys annulatus I expect.

Buddyboy I need those plants M8
I may temporarily stick the odd 3 foot aquarium next to the breeding set-up
periodically to cope with excess fry. We'll see how things pan out.

All the best

mate that is awesome it looks very well made and almost like a fridge freezer too lol but fantastic i wish i had more room to build something like that

All the tanks are now filled except the planted (show tank, yet to get equipment)
All the stats are reading true for the species I want to keep.
I am having 3-4 species to start with.
Aphyosemion elberti N'tui
Nothobranchius malaissei
Nothobranchius kafuensis Chunga
Rivulus xiphidius Crique Boulenger
This I feel is enough for a small set up but I may expand further as time goes on.

Later tomorrow (Saturday) I will be picking up some fish along with all the Livefood cultures I need.
,I will try and get some fishy pics up on Sunday evening.
For now here are some photos of the set-up as it stands at the moment. All the legwork has been done as far as the building is concerned. What is left to do now is to get all the Livefoods split and set-up with their appropriate mediums.
Make the Brineshrimp hatchers and plumb them into the ring-main (air) After that I will just have to fine tune the system to my requirements.

looks brilliant; very nicely done.

I've now transferred and set up most my livefoods that can be cultured indoors. I have yet to get some Daphnia up and running outside, maybe in the greenhouse.
I have just started the little planted display tank and I'm waiting on a few more plants to be delivered, namely Cryptocorne Wendtii and Pogostemon helferi

Plants I have recently obtained for the breeders tanks include large bunches of Java Fern, equally large amounts of Java Moss and Salvinia natans
Thanks to all those who have helped me out in this department.
