FISH&CHIPS, I use to breed them in a 20 long, an keep them in a 55, an pair in a 48 would do fine read up on them first, a little knowledge goes a loooog way.very easy to keep, havent see any around latley BUT im always lookin

Beautiful fish. I think that one of the reasons that not many are seen in aquariums is the fact that they have a very short life span. In the wild they live in places that dry up during the summer months and it's their eggs that live on in the mud till the next rainfall. I don't know if they live any longer in captivity.
