Kilkenny win the hurling

Here's a pic of my cousin Eddie Brennan who scored the first goal (and four points) in yesterdays 3-18 to 0-15 defeat of Tipperary in the All Ireland Semi-Finals.

With any luck he will be getting a ticket for me for the final in September......

Wow fair play to him, dangerous sport though at least he has head protection, i've seen quite a few without it... before

Apparently it is the fastest ball game in the world with the ball reaching 100mph in open play.

Some of them still play without any head or face protection - at a juniors match I went to see when I was in Ireland there was one broken nose and two lost teeth (separate players).....
