I've managed to *accidentally* isolate a breeding pair of Keyhole Cichlids whilst trying to curb aggression in my larger tank.
This morning I found a large clutch of eggs (150-200, 3/4 of which are white, the rest are a dull grey/brown)
The two keyholes are displaying the spawning behaviour - taking it in turns to guard and fan the eggs, picking bits of dirt off them
Im elated!
However, on sunday I'm off on holiday for two weeks, so my ability to help them along is very limited
Does anyone have any tips as to how I can improve these little guy's chances?
They are sharing a 160l tank with 10 Dwarf Rainbows and 8 Green Tiger Barbs.
