HOwes the sea horse doing? if the flow rate is to high he won't be able to swim. Plus what are you feeding him? Brine shrimp and mysis are good food stuffs but makesure the fish don't get them all first. Also how many time a day are you feeding him. Sea horses have only got intestins and so can't 'hold' food.

Other that that the rock work looks good. Have you thonught about sumping some. It will still work as a filter but be out of the display.

Ohhh nice looks like uve got plenty scaped rocks to put corals on now! keep it up m8!

the rock i bought has started to grow a few corals now which are looking good. i got some turbo snails to help with the algie and it has, but i have still got a black film on the ground which keeps comeing back, you can see it in the photo. i want to get some more fish the weekend and would like some advice on which fish to get that are not aggresive and are reef safe, so sugestions would be great

Dunno what that is Ken, never seen one of those :shifty:. The second coral looks a lot like a blastomussa wellsophyllia (not sure about the spelling there), or perhaps an Acanthestrea species.

some updated pictures. the algea has all died down now so its looking a lot neater, just a bit of hair algea.
