Just Witnessed Murder

I have a breeding trio of bn plecs and ive just witnessed one of the females trying to eat a baby is this normal, they get plenty of food and i cant understand why she has done this, she has killed it and im in two minds in what to do with her as i dont really want her eating the youngsters

this could have been natural instinct. the baby may have had defects or something.

i never had any problems with my female or large common attacking fry, but i did often see the fry sitting on them lol, maybe watch see if it happens again.
