Well...The mailman just came....And went. No fish as of yet. There is still a possibility they will come later. When I lived in my apartment, packages were delivered after the regular mail. I am starting to get really nervous. I am terrified I am going to be receiving dead fish . I would feel SO guilty if that happens.

Any word on the customs tracking?

Oh man I was so excited when I saw you'd replied to this thread. I'm worried sick,too. It's all I could think about last night. Overall- the fish can handle a week without food, no problems. I just hope it's not too hot there. What's the weather like?

I'm still getting "no report" messages wth the custom #, but I'm not exactly sure it's a tracking number.

I was thinking of my Wednesday premonition last night...jeez louise I hope it isn't going to be this next Wednesday!!

As of this point I am certain they are still okay. And don't feel guilty at all and I won't either, it's a learning experience for everyone. So far I'm still not too upset, I hope they come tonight.

It looks like I am going to be waiting until at least Monday. It is warm today, though it was cloudy yesterday and the day before. The weather forecast for monday calls for sun and temps as high as 29. I know that doesn't sound very hot, but with the humidity it is pretty hot. I think our mail trucks are air conditioned, and I know that the main sorting post office by my house is air conditioned too. I will keep my hopes up. I will not give up on them until I get them of course.

I moved all the 1 gallon tanks to the top of the entertainment center. Challenger (mostly white vt) and Porsche (new orangish/red plakat) were ready to rumble--it was pretty awesome looking. I left them all in view of each other for a few minutes, then used DVD cases as dividers between the five one-gallon tanks. The fish look great. Now Hubby thinks he should get a fishing boat as his new hobby since I have the bettas...

They are all alive and still feisty as ever!

They are just getting used to their new surroundings, so pics will come later. I need to go get some plants tomorrow too. I am so very happy. Thank you so much Wuv, they are all adorable

wuvmybetta - I can't seem to find anything here that indicates the age of these adoptees. The bodies of my two red ones seem to be larger than the other bettas I have (although the others are veil tail). I was just wondering.

My red DT is around 9 months old I think, making my female the same age. They are quite big compared to my other fish as well, you should see my girl next to my baby DT, she is at least twice his size, including his tail and he is a long finned DT.

My guess is your fish are probably about the same age.

FE- how long did it take for them to get there from the states? I'm getting some sent as well and I'm curious.
