To all who are expecting adopted fish- I've just sent them all out. I figure an announcement will be more time efficient than PM's


A big fat thank you to everyone. You guys are so great for taking them in. And now I have so much room for my upcoming spawns I've cleared out over 40 fish in the last week, so thanks again!


Also, sorry I'm in a hurry ) , but I have one going to Canada priority and it was only 9.00?!?! FE, I owe you some money and I was shocked at how cheap it was....all this time I thought it would cost an arm and a leg

I think there should be a post for all of the adopted fish!! Pictures and updates on their arrival! That way wuvmybetta can see how they all are and we get to see more pictures of gorgeous Bettas!!!

We stopped at a pet store I've been wanting to check out for several months (my DIL used to work there, but it's 40 miles or so from here). They had some beautiful bettas. Hubby even picked out one. I told him if I bought that one plus the female I wanted, I'd have to get more Aquaviews because I had one or two adopted fish coming in the mail. He didn't object--so I now have "Challenger" who is a white veil tale male with some blue and purple and red spots on him. "Mercedes" is a beautiful, perfect looking female--possibly delta tail. Tomorrow I'll stop by WM and pick up two more Aquaviews I can't wait for the traveling fish to arrive!

What's the name of the store? Do tell, do tell....I thought I knew all the good W.Wash betta "outlets", but I'm always glad to add another to the list....

Heh heh, FE got one who looks pretty close to Dad, he was my last though. I'll definitely have a fry for ya though if you give us a few months (otherwise I have reds who could go now ....?)

I was shocked at how affordable it was,too. I kept making the clerk check and re-check because it just didn't seem right, but he assured me it was.

Paws and Fins Pet Shop on Bainbridge Island. The cups were small, but all the water was clear and the fish looked very healthy. Both new fish are swimming around and each ate a couple of pellets.
