Just set up and placed plants around in my tank.

Has 2 T5s lighting it up with Eco complete substrate (which love the look of btw) the only problem I had which as you can see in the photo by the roll of weighting around the wood is that i couldn't get it to sink even after it was soaked for a while.

Will add the heater after the water has warmed up to room temp

Photo added

Added the photo, also will have to see how the open top goes as its the first without a lid all around and with 4 cats lets hope from all the others they have learned to leave them alone

its not actually blue just the light making it look so its just the standard plant weight to stop it floating

What's the blue thing around the wood?

That's a nice tank. Those driftwood pieces are screaming out to have some anubias grown on them. Hairgrass in the middle ground wouldn't go astray.
What's the stocking looking like at the moment?

I was planning on putting some anubais on the wood but local shop didn't have any as I have it in my main 4fter and have 2 parts flowering and looks great.

As for stocking I haven't decided yet except for a couple of shrimps so any suggestions I can take a look at?
A question does anyone know what the large plant on the back left is? Wasn't labeled or anything from where I got it (got 2 and they were already this large) as it sticks out of the top of this tank and for a £5er ea don't think it was to bad for the size of them
