For a few years I successfully kept a 90-gallon tropical tank. After being without fish for several years, I decided to get a goldfish. Then my girlfriend wanted one so I'm taking care of 2. In the beginning I was afraid the goldfish might be a little boring compared to flashy tropical fish, but my fears went away after we added the second fish. They each have distinct personalities and behaviors, and the interactions between the 2 is amusing and very entertaining. You probably won't believe this but they sometimes settle down at night and watch TV with us. They'll either float in the corner or sit on the gravel starting at the TV. Their favorite show is "Resident Alien"
