We collected a 5' x 18" x 24" complete with base and hood, and it nearly killed me and my better half to lift it. It needs some work (and a good clean), so it is not set up yet, but I am SO looking forward to it!

My heart goes out to this poor chap! Can you imagine getting rid of that to go and live 'back home'?

Already got a 55 gallon and a 40 gallon in the front room and their is just nowhere I could fit it in. (especially seeing as we have a baby boy due in ten days!! )

Prams, moses baskets, toys, nappies, changing mats etc etc etc!!

That tank is crying out for a large school of smaller, more colourful fish. I'd get rid of those big ugly fish in a second.

I wouldn't have called them ugly, and even if they were, I'm sure the personalities would make up for it!

But I do agree, turning that into a large african cichlid tank would make it a beautiful centerpiece for a room.

Hope you can convince hubby - you can then always approach the seller to negotiate a private deal if he needs to get rid of it quickly.

would have loved it lagrant but like I mentioned, space is at a premium. not to mention the fact that West Sussex is a hell of a long way to drive for a tank (no matter how superb it is!)
