Just Got My New Baby Dps

Lol....they would probably look at you in disgust if you put something that small in for them

I'll carry on with the live bloodworm for now and get a little snail farm up and running too (hubby is going to love that lol)

Did a quick search for blackworm and couldn't find much on them.

Infusoria is kinda microscopic, isn't it? Just googled some blackworm images. Don't think I could handle them

Yes but you're not the one eating them  although they do look pretty gross!!!!

I know you can cultivate infusoria for feeding newly hatched fry.....but I thought it was found around plants.

I'm fine handling insect larvae but worms......

Though I might, just might, get them for my DPs if I ever come across them in my LFS :shifty:

I can cope ok with worms normally.....but can't go near the crickets and locusts for our Beardie

I'll give Modaz a shout and see if he can get them....I'll let you know what he says :good:

....and as jennybugs said i think you have 1 male and 3 females. but then again i see know stripes down the belly

The belly stripe isn't indicative of a male puffer. It's indicative of the dominant ones. When I had just my 3 females in a tank, the dominant girlie had a dark belly stripe too. She wasn't the largest one either

I guess it's abit like people saying only female bettas have an ovipositor when lots of juvenile males show them too. They all seem to be fine at the moment but will keep a close eye on them.

Picked up another 5 live plants today so hopefully once they have all grown on it'll give much more cover for them.

Do you think it would be a good idea to add some Kuhli Loaches. I've steered clear really cos I didn't like the look of them but hubby thinks it would be good to get some.

If so then how many would be a good number to get?

 Somehow I think they look quite interesting. Never had the room for them though. No idea on numbers but do post some pics if you get them :)

I thought you didn't like wormy looking things
