Just found snails

I just been doing my rounds with the fish food and noticed about 5 really tiny snails in one of my tanks,i think they must have been on the plants when i baught them.I thaught i had rinsed the plants enough before putting in the tank but maybe not.What kind of snails will they be they are a really pale almost transparent orange/brown,and should i remove them ?Any advice please???

Unless you like snails alot you should remove them becuase they're like rabbits.

Try putting somelettucein the tank. It will attract them. Then, thepopulation will be more concentrated and will be easier to remove the snials

OKk guys i will get them out cos i have found quit a few more so i better stick a lettuce leaf in there and collect the little buggers.

Snails arnt all that bad, they clear up alot of the crap in the tank. When thay do lay eggs their easy to find as they have to lay out of water (usually on the bottom of my lid), so they're easy to get rid of.
