Hi

Can someone just confirm whether or not nutrafin cycle still requires me to use a separate tap conditioner to make the water safe as I asked lfs which they thought was best this or interpet tapsafe and he said nutrafin but now on reading instructions further I'm thinking its more like a filter start than a water conditioner to remove chlorine, etc.

Plz advise before I do anything, as I need to perform a water change tomorrow at latest.

:)

Hi there

I'm still new to all this, you still need to add a water conditioner to the water before you put water into the tank, nutrafin cycle is a cycle product, although many people don't rate them.
Are you doing a fishless cycle,if so you dont need to do a water change,if u have fish in the tank, thats a whole new ball game with regular water changes etc.I'm sure the wonderful experts on here can help you more :)

nutrafin cycle is a "cycle in a bottle" that doesnt always work, you will need to get a water conditioner.
This will remove chlorine and chloramines.
stress coat is a type many on here like to use
how long have you had your tank?

Agree with cowboy here,

The nutrafin cycle is just a cycle in a bottle product that doesnt work, so save your money.

The nutrafin water conditioner is called aqua plus and looks like this: Aqua plus
