Hi i was considering getting a pair of these to add to my tank which consists mostly of barbs, and i was just wondering how they would get on with the barbs?

how many barbs do you have and how many corys do you decide to get?
My pet store had about 5 maybe 6 or 7 barbs and 2 corys in a tiny tank and the corys were constantly harassed but if you add at least 6 corys maybe it would change

odessa and rosy, and maybe some tiger barbs in the near future

ive got 11 barbs at the moment 7 odessa and 4 rosy

What size tank do you have? has both your barbs grow quite large... needing minimum 30 gal tanks... These barbs should be ok,although tiger barbs are aggressive.

You'll probably end with false julii known has Trilineatus ,true julii's are hard to get and quite rare, but you would be better with 4-6 of these.

ive got a 90 ltr ill probably leave it for now and just see how i get on with what ive got, i may get platinum tiger barbs in the future though.

TBH I wouldn't add more fish. Remember, you've already got a Gold CAE, a SAE and a Rainbow Shark. I think you are over stocked as it is. :)

Yeah i guess your right :( i think ive got a case of eyes and wallet to big for my tank lol

I agree with carlovel1 -Sounds like you are overstocked, all them will grow too much for a 90 litre tank, and TBH unfair on them with lack of space...

You're welcome, BTW the leopard cory is also different to the Trilineatus(three line cory, false julii) & Julii  :)

Have you got a pic of yours?

No pics as of yet.. Missus has misplaced the camera, and to make things worse, misplaced the camera charger SOMEWHERE ELSE... bah..why?

After reading the above post, I did more research and mine are much more similar to trilineatus (my last research wasn't showing proper photos for leopards)

The way to describe them would be lightly coloured body, almost whiteish, with a maze/labyrinth like pattern running the length of most the body.

You can see one of my supposed Julii in this shot.

I think it must be trilineatus.
