aww that nice, i dont have any hiding paces in any of mine,only some wood and a few plants, i can imagine putting pots in there with jambo now.. something else for him to chuck at me at feeding time

day- day just bit me hes a fast learner eh?

just fed bum face ( jambo) on the oppsite side of where i wanted to get the magnet cleaner from, so i was ok with him, then i go and put it in day days tank only to have him bite the side of my hand these boys are getting out of control

Looking forward to rejoining the OC myself!!

Got a nice 80G waiting for a new Oscar and a few others. My old Oscar bit me once too shelagh on the bit of skin between my thumb and the rest of my hand! Ouch.

ooh lots of promising sounding new additions coming? can't wait. i want a baby oscar, just to watch them grow as i didnt get to do that with mine, sadly with 11 tanks up and running in such a small space id have to either get rid of the fridge/freezer or a couple of tanks to make room. just cant see my other half agreeing......

Well Tigh had a bit of a crazy episode last night...

My tank has a wooden top but also a sliding glass lid underneath.. opened the wooden top and the silly fish tried to jump out the water to grab the mussel i had in my other hand as I was about to slide the glass... he hit the glass with an almighty whack! Suprised he didnt stun himself

Opened the glass lid and he came clean out the water and got my finger instead of the mussel. No idea where this has come from as I've never held food above the water for him, always a little underneath as I'm worried about 'teaching' him the art of jumping.
