Well bl**dy hell, I thought pleco's were messy fish but these two take the award for messiest fish ever.

They take the food, chew it up and spit half of it out again!!!!!

I only cleaned the bottom of muck this morning, it looks like a train wreck again already.

Im seriously thinking of removing their gravel and leaving it a bare bottomed tank, much easier to just suck up the leftover and poop. Whadda ya think?

oh minx.. this is nothing, you wait till they get as big as jambo i actually started a thread cos i thought there was something wrong with him spitting his food out of his gills, now tho he just filters the floating plants

I wouldnt mind so much just the bits that come out the gills, its the spat out half eaten pellets.

They grab the pellet, seem to chew it for a bit, then decide actually no I dont really want it and spit it out!!!! Grrrr maybe I shall find a different pellet see if they prefer that. Today they are not getting their prawn and bloodworm Maybe they are objecting to that

love the new sig minx, i can just see those ywo cuddled up together, if they can find eachother in that massive tank- you will have to put signs up " hes over there" bless them, your a really great fishkeeper and i really admire you.. especially now you have oscars
