So here's mine.

He's barely 3 inches yet, but already a nice fish.
He came pretty bashed up and pretty underweight from the store but I feel he's doing really well im my tank :good:

James.

Thanks Biff, he was around 7inch maybe bigger, was a chunky ole fella, oh mate at 3inchs and he looks like that already, going to be a stunner, they always look malnurished in fish stores,

are you gonna add a plec then?

and you should have put it in TOTM mate!

had a mate who had one with a ruby shark
they were in a tropicl pond 6x5x3 they
both were just over 9 and a half inches
i seem funny when you see them that size

I'm considering it Ian :good:

Im going to Egypt next week, so i'll sort it out after then. But i'm also very close to ordering a 4x2x2

Any ideas on a potential substrate change? The gravel is okay, but I don't think it suits the tank so much anymore, plus it isn't the most plant friendly despite the good growth.

I was thinking black sand?

Update tonight: Just done a big water change to get rid of the Nitrates built up over the last few weeks. Trimmed my plants and re-planted them over the tank. Gave the tank a cabinet a quick once over clean. Didn't play around with the decor as I quite like the ways its planned out at the minute.

Any thoughts? :good:

Your wish has been granted Biff. Got another Krib today for free to make a pair.

There were 5 on offer but didn't want more than one pair in the tank, nice size aswell very nearly if not fully grown. :good:

Nice tank, James! You should defintly out this in TOTM, i'd vote for it :p
You should really get a BN, there such awsome fish, and clean up your tank super fast :fun: , but then, I suppose that could be biased, because I've had BN's since I could remember, there my favourite fish, and i'm un-officially considered the BN queen in my local fish club

It's in for november. I don't know when to the voting starts though.

I might even get some Cory's but i'd need a change to sand if I did.

I've added an L202 (peckoltia lineola) Pleco today.

I recently changed my pea gravel to a darker sand/smaller grain gravel. I've also had a play about with the decor, i'll post some pictures later.

I also got rid of one of my U4 internal's and have added an Ehiem external.

James.

Pics of the re-done tank up. I'm thinking of restocking 80% of my fish so I can have a South American tank.

James.

This is how the tank looks now.

Need to add more Cardinal's. Got 10 Just wondering wether to add 10 more or get away with 20 more?
