Jam Jars Replicate Their Natural Enviroment

ive been to that fish store!! did you see the rather large catfish in the tank behind the bettas, it bites your finger... and it bloody hurts

So he doeas have one sign in the store that makes sense lol...

On that tank it has a sign sayin ... Keep your fingers out of the tank as this fish bites lmao.. :good:

Seriously on a side note, i havnt took my buisness back to that store and in truth havnt set foot back in it. I dont keep beta's (but i choose not to buy anything from people who know so little about the stock they sell) as for space and a family to keep !! this shop is massive in comparison to others in the same vacintiy and has plenty space for beta tanks if only he moved the old BSA motorbikes n crap out of the way. Small paypackets ? thats questionable.. Ask a good and established discus breeder if he can pay his morgage each month..

Small paypacket maybies when starting out but if you do things right, word of mouth sharp gets around and in turn the pay packet creeps up but do things wrong and loose trust in your customers by stupid lies then the opposite can and will happen.....

So inhumane...And the rice paddies that I've seen where bettas are kept or at least..used to be, are really really long and shallow to medium height. Like |____________________(°))|<______________________| That's the betta in comparison to the rice paddie..It's so wrong andif you want to make an argument, ask him if he'd like to be kept in a well all his life

personally i am appalled at this shop , they should be reported to the rspca and i would love a phone number or email addy of this shop to complain about their cruel treatment of these bettas .

imho i feel anything smaller than a 2.5 gallon is way way too small for bettas , dash is in a 2 foot tank and he only shares it with a few corys , and even then i feel he needs more room , he loves swimming around the tank and seems so happy to have all the space .
