9.4 18 inch plastic plants
10. 1 anubias
11. onion plant

please i need help with a good scape for people to see it

go for a trinaglur composition. then you can see the slope down towards the glass from the side, nad it looks like a hill from the front.

place plants in the correct areas according to height, any stems can be trimmed to the correct height so concentrate more on the crypts & echinodorous whih are harder.

Get a tall growing plant for the back corner, such as crypt spiralis or onion plant which will drape over the surface of the water.

Most importantly, dont buy bits of 1 plants and bits of another, get a decent sized bunch going otherise it looks all in tatters. large groups of plants is much more effective.

alright, so i think this will be an oppurtune time
to get rid of the plastic plants during the re scape

sorry aaron, but i dont understand what a triangle like composition would be
could you show som pics?

here you go lol :p

oh, ok sorry!!!
yes, but does that scape fight in a long 55 gallon?
and does it look good viewed from both sides?

could i see a pic of that tank?

i dont know how i would place my swords
they kind of wide and dont seem to fill in

If I may be so bold, an "island" scape may also be an option. You have your focal point kind of centerish, which is not normally done and then it radiates outward and the height decreases. Such a tank scape is usually viewable from multiple angles. Especially from the front, the left, and the right. Might be something to try, although you can get a triangle scape to do this as well, especially if you center the height of the triangle about 2/3 into the tank rather than flush with the side of the tank. It's just the viewing area is significantly shorter on one side.

The tank is looking very good. The black angel is stunning!

wow that is a beautiful tank
think i definitely want tto do that
lljdma06-i love my black angel-shes my pride and joy!! :D
i dont think im going to do an island scape, because i have no idea how
to place the swords, but i do have a pretty good idea with
the triangular scape
i have a week to think it over, so im not deciding just yet.
i think a mix of the orangish flourite and white sand will
look great at the bottom of the "hill"
made by the triangular figure

i was wondering though, what would be an easy carpeting
plant i could put at the bottom?

technically i could use wisteria, i just found that out

but that might look kind of wierd.
