It's a start......

Looks nice now cuz all the plants are brand new! Never know what it is gonna look like in a week!  :D :X ;)

Just a question: u ever have any algae in any of ur tanks? My tanks r all half planted n I can't really get rid of this problem... -_-

I only have an algae problem in one of my tanks......the 45....it is a blackish hair like algae that is growing all over my rocks.......I bought some red tailed black sharks and they are doing a great job of mowing it down!

awww, don't worry! I wish I could help you with the plant thing but this is the only tank I have with real plants and it is only 2 days worth, so I have zero experience.

However, the guys at the good ole fish store (forced) me to buy a 240 dollar coralife light for this tank and said it is the best possible thing I could do for a planted tank, it is SUPER BRIGHT!!!! 130 watts, the thing even has 2 cooling fans in it!

oh really???!!i thought your plants were real....my apologies

well we have something in common...this is my first attempt as well and some of them are dying :( i think its a combination of bad lights and my little piggys wont stop picking at them

I hope my fish don't eat them....that would just be absolutely no good!!!!

I can't have any plants in my house bcs of the cats and I can't have any in the tanks bcs of the cichlids!

I just want to have plants somewhere!!!! They are pretty!

Wow, mike! That light is pretty high tech! And the tanks pretty good...for a cat lover  !!!!! LOL  :p !! Anyways, yea...how much was that light!!???
Ronster :p
P.S. Feline, yes, I have that probelm in my planted molly tank!! Whoa...its soo hard to get rid of!! Its finally green algea instead of the brown stuff! But I've tried everything, algea eaters, magnets, ext. everything but chemicals. Not too big of a fan of chems.

With everyone wishing me all this luck, I can't see how anything could go wrong!!!

(fingers crossed!)

No it is a freshwater, they are really picky about their environment I hear. They don't like alot of current and stuff like that, they also can be quite expensive.

Very pretty though!

Oh yeah, in case you are still feeling sad.....-> :flowers:
