why do you people like cats so much? How many times a day do you see them, and how many times are they hissing at you from under the bed?? 
My cats have NEVER hissed at me. Not once. In ten years. Ever. My cat Annie has more personality than most of the people I know. Kashmir fetches as well as a labrador retriever. Annie frequently accompanies my daughter and me on long walks; she went trick or treating with us last Hallowe'en, going up to every door with Jenica, and sitting beside her while she got her loot! Annie also answered the telephone regularly when she was younger. They're both absolutely affectionate, playful, loyal, and intelligent animals. I'm not knocking dogs, and if I wasn't a single mom who already has a menagerie of critters to care for, I'd have one, but you've got it all wrong when it comes to our feline friends. MeOw.
