it just won't stop!

My brand new betta came down with white spot. I turned up the temp., added salt, doing 40% water changes every day AND used medication according to instructions. This WAS working and almost every spot disappeared, but the next day he was covered in just as many (but smaller) spots. I haven't changed what i'm doing but it's not going away like it did before??!!!he still seems ok, but i don't want him to get progressively worse.

any suggestions

give him ich medicine and quit all the other temp, salt, water change things

'White spot' is usually caused by some sort of stress, which weakens the fish's immune system, thus... white spot. I've found the temp thing to work well, but I'd try the meds if you want.... I'd really take a good look at everything you've got and see if there isn't something that's making him all stressed out. Live foods should help some, but I can't promise you anything.
