Is This Tuffa Rock?

Ok couldn't wait 24hrs it had been 17hrs when I tested it this morning and these are the results
Ph from 6.8 - now 7.6
Kh from 180 - now 270
Gh from between 250-500 now is as dark as the 500

That's a decent increase. Is that what you were hoping for?

Yeah I am hoping all the rock and coral sand will get me to ph 8.0 - 8.2 .

Also have been cleaning these rocks and found a tiny snail shell

Maybe it's a fossil!

Yeah I can see another 2 so far imbedded in the rock they are only about 3mm.

So now I'm satisfied that the rocks will help my ph and won't harm my fish so thanks for your mate

I'm gonna order one of those water fans to go in to keep the water moving moving to help reduce dead spots around the stones. Will be doing all this in a few weeks so will post pics of the cichlid setup when it's done .
