Is this tank beyond repair?

So I got this tank from a friend about 2 years ago and today I just remembering it.


Do you think it is beyond repair? If I patched it with the piece of glass that is the same size?

I don’t know why my friend have 10+ of broken tank.

I mean normal person don’t break their tank 10 times right?

He’s the one who gets me into fishkeeping and all these overstocked stuffs.

He had bichir, snapping turtle, ray, long neck turtle in 75 gal tank

You can replace the base but it's a lot of work, especially with the built in filter.

A false bottom or patch is fine if it's just one crack, but when there are multiple cracks, it's safer to replace the base.

I fixed the bottom, the brace broke...

How many braces do I need? The tank is 24x12x18 high.

Sorry, I meant the top braces.

My grandpa already fix the bottom one, he’s working with glasses all day as a job
